FAT! Fett voll feiern.= Celebrating fat.

That’s what May 23th is going to be about.

A party with a show, audio corner and a film tent, where body representations and norms will be fought back.

In the media and in our daily life we’re being confronted with stereotypical representations of what counts as beautiful and what people should look like. That is mostly big, thin, white, styled people without any obvious disabilities. These portraits form our society and have influence on what we perceive as beautiful, ideal and presentable. Bigger part of our society however contradicts these „ideals“. The bigger the difference between reality and the ideal is the more pressure one gets to justify themselves. We are hungry for a change and want to celebrate body diversity with as many different people as possible, gladly broadening our own horizons to begin with.

That also means finding people who have the motivation and the time to
join us. People, who want to join our zero-percent-fat-bother space. What would you like to do and or see on the stage?
What would you like to watch in the film tent?
Do you have ideas how to make our show and party even more fatbulous? Or help doing a shift at the entrance?

So far we are a handful of people: fatsy, fem(me)inist, white, working, queer, with and without migration background, comfortable, jobless, restless, cis, students, fat or also not, trans*, …

It would be wondefull, great and important that many of you like what we are up to and that people with all sorts of different perspectives come together to make it happen and create the whole picture.

FAT! Fett voll feiern!.

Darum wird es sich am 23. Mai drehen.

Eine Party mit Show, Audio-Ecke und einem Film Zelt, bei dem Körperdarstellungen und Normen infragegestellt werden.

In den Medien und in unserem täglichen Leben sind wir mit stereotypen Darstellungen von dem, was als schön gilt und wie Leute aussehen sollte konfrontiert. Das sind meist große, dünne, weiße, gestylte Menschen ohne wahrnehmbare Behinderung. Diese Bilder prägen unsere Gesellschaft und haben Einfluss auf das, was wir als schön, ideal und vorzeigbar wahrnehmen. Ein großer Teil unserer Gesellschaft jedoch widerspricht diesem „Ideal“. Je größer der Unterschied zwischen Realität und Ideal ist der Druck auf Leute, sich zu rechtfertigen.

Wir sind hungrig nach Veränderung und Körpervielfalt! Wir wollen mit so vielen verschiedenen Menschen wie möglich zu feiern und gerne auch die eigenen Grenzen sprengen.

Das bedeutet auch Leute zu suchen, die Lust und Zeit haben uns zu unterstützen.
Menschen, die dazu beitragen möchten den Null-Prozent-Fett-Raum zu stören.
Was möchtest du auf der Bühne machen oder sehen?
Was würdest dugerne in dem Film Zelt sehen?
Hast du Ideen, wie wir unsere Show und Party noch mehr fetttastisch machen können?
Oder magst du bei einer Schicht z.B. am Eingang helfen?

Zur Zeit sind wir eine Handvoll Leute: moppelig, fem(me)inistisch, weiß, arbeitend, queer, mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund, arbeitslos, unruhig, cis, studierend, Fett oder auch nicht, trans *, …

Es wäre wundervoll, toll und wichtig, dass viele Spaß daran haben, was wir machen und dass Menschen mit vielen unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zusammenkommen um mitzugestalten und etwas gemeinsam zu schaffen.
